In the last two months from November 2019 DUHAMIC-ADRI in close collaboration with TROCAIRE and Oxfam with START FUND Network has supported 300 households in Nyanza, Rulindo and Gakenke Districts for anticipation of flooding. 186 houses rehabilitated, 30 water springs repaired and 300 toilets and kitchens repaired, WASH items distributed to 300 households and those families received food items and other non food items.
DUHAMIC-ADRI is engaged in humanitarian actions to support rural communities believing that together we can do more to prevent emergencies than to respond to them.
This is the fund from the umbrella of International NGOs working on humanitarian preparedness, response and resilience. It is made by 43 INGOs including Save the Children, TROCAIRE, OXFAM, Plan International, Care International Rwanda, and World Vision among others. Those INGOs have created a network and they mobilize funds which feed START FUND.
